We chose from a menu that offered a WIDE choice. Lemongrass coconut chicken soup for me - absolutely delicious! - and 3 eggs with bacon, fries and toast - a hubby pleaser! - made us agree that our first visit to the Claremont Country Restaurant would definitely not be our last ! Owner Bala Nedumaran brought our lunch out and served it with a side order of the most genial conversation you could wish for! If you're out Claremont way, you owe it to yourself to stop by here!
It was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. On top of that, the hospitality was exceptional—everyone was so welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a better meal or a warmer atmosphere.

Excellent place. Extensive menu with good prices. Everyone will find something they will like. My veal parmesan was the best I've ever had and it came with pasta cooked Al dente and meat sauce!
Hidden jem, owner is absolutely hilarious. He should have his own tv show. For was great we had the ultimate burger combo (17), and butter chicken poutine (16) and a order of 4 samosa for only 4. Burger was giant and the butter chicken was absolutely Amazing. We traveled from Bowmanville on a recommendation, and we will return
Convenient little one stop shop with great food and an extremely friendly owner. We dined in and had veggie samosas, wings, steak dinner and butter chicken and enjoyed everything. Also took home 2 chicken souvlaki dinners for my parents and they both enjoyed as well. Prices are reasonable. Would recommend, a must try and worth the drive if you live nearby, only 15 min from Stouffville! Thanks so much Bala, we will be back.
Literally the best experience. Normally, if you see such a wide variety of cuisines, there's some portions that are good and the others fall short. Our table had everything from Pizza to Butter Chicken to Burgers and Soup and it was all perfect 10/10 recommend and would dine here again! Thanks to the staff. They were lovely and super pleasant!
